I recently figured out how to take slightly better pics from the TV with a digital camera, so here are some previously unseen images of Chao! Some are old photos I just couldn't find a place for on the site; most are brand new.

Chi is a Pure Yellow bred Chao. He was the first Chao I got to full S-rank status; he was born with SCSSS, and I repeatedly evolved him to Fly to upgrade the final stat.

Chi straight after hatching into his fourth life (you can actually see his eggshell behind him). This shows the stats Chao can be born with if they were maxed out in the previous life. Straight out of the egg Chi can swim competently, sprint, fly, and beat all beginner races.
To give an idea, if you are unfamiliar with the SA2B mechanics: the most a Chao can gain in one level of a stat is 30 points - if he has an S in that stat and gets the maximum boost. Chi has inherited around 300 points at level 1 - to get an equivalent you'd have to raise a new all S-ranked Chao to at least level 12 for the same gain.
Donny is a Normal bred Chao. He is the second Chao I got to full S-rank status. Donny is now archived on a separate save and I do not intend to reincarnate him.
Who says Sonic Chao can't swim? Donny does an effortless backstroke and front crawl. He's actually quite hard to catch in the water.
And this would be why. I used the evolution cancel method to restore Donny to Neutral Run/Run after maxing his stats. Donny still holds the record for the highest Run stat of any Chao I have raised.
Donny became a full S-rank Chao after several reincarnations.
Monocha is a Pure Normal (the Pure version of the regular Chao). He's yet another full S-rank.
Nope, this isn't a Pure Red, it's Monocha! Red is the "base color" of the Dark Run/Run (Shadow Chao), which is why the Shadow Chao has red stripes - they're showing through transparent areas in the tinted overlay. As Monocha has no overlay, he reveals the base color of whatever evolution he takes.

Sirius is a shop-bought silver Chao imported from Sonic Advance. I have been evolving Sirius methodically to try and make him an S-rank Chao

Old photo - Sirius in the Hero Race. Note the multiple stamina bars: once he's used up the green, he'll go down the yellow bar underneath, and THEN down a red bar underneath that. Only then will he run out! Sirius's stats are all at lv99.
Zeal is a shop-bought Shiny White, the first Chao I bought in SA2B. Zeal is incredibly hard to photograph due to the brilliance of his color! He has been reincarnated several times, always to Hero, and his Fly stat is now ranked S (up from a C at the beginning).

Darkie is a bred Duotone Black that I have been reincarnating in order to make him another full S-rank Chao.

Notice that Darkie is walking confidently straight away. His Run stat at level 1, inherited from his previous life, is 300. His stats in this life are SSSSA, so once he evolves to a Stamina type one more time, he'll be fully S-ranked.
